Replacing the flooring , Using Ernie Ekbert

Well the time has come to get rid of that damn carpet..
So checked around and found Ernie,
So far so good, Demo is complete and

The plywood sub floor looks good which is a big plus.Gotta love Foretravel construction & choice of materials.

Went with Hickory [not floating vinyl].I Want Wood... not just a vinyl picture of wood.
Ernie will start laying in the floor next day or so..
Pic's so far..

No, The "Engineered Hickory" is actually 3/8 plywood with the last two directional strands are Hickory. This is then adhered [glued] to the subfloor.
If it was Vinyl, one would have to lay underlayment over the sub floor before putting down the vinyl. [If you didn't use an under layment, the vinyl would reflect any and all imperfections of the subfloor]
