Roof material type

2017 Forrest River Coachman Catalina 291QBCK

We got that young family who lost their husband/father all hooked up and sort of moved into their Camping Trailer this past Friday, and again much appreciation to those who helped me with the propane issue.

I have found some cracking of the sealant at the roof edges and try as I might can not determine if the roof is made with the EPDM or TPO material. They got the coach from LazyDays, but when I inquired with them, I was told they couldn't help me and to call Forrest River at 1-866-837-6044.

I placed that call this morning and as expected had to leave my number, but they haven't gotten back to me. OH well, customer "no" service I guess.

On our Class A I use the Dicor lap seal, but what is on the roof now appears a little different and I don't want to apply the wrong stuff. So I'm doing now what I should have done earlier this morning, asking this wonderful IRV2 forum for help. Can anyone tell me what the roof material is on a 2017 Catalina is made of?

The research I did leads me to thinks it is TPO, since it appears that after 2011, TPO was the material use on travel trailers. Any information you can provide is greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Went to the Forest River website and ended up finding this video. States in the video that the Dicor product used is good for both types of roofs.

Thank you for that video link, I looked at a number of Dicor's, as well as other videos, and this is the only video which states the Lap Seal can be used on either EPDM or TPO.
