2004 Gulf Stream Friendship G7 400hp

New to Gulf Stream and actually new to diesel pushers but have come across a unit that I might be interested in.

400 hp w/19,000 miles

Very clean.

Are there pros and cons to this particular year of Gulf Streams? I have contacted the owner for more information regarding this Gulf Stream.

Thanks.

Hi, I think I might have actually have seen this one for sale. If I'm correct, it was very nice looking and I thought a great price. I own a 2005 GS Atrium 8410 with 3 slides and the sunroom. Only has 40K miles on a 400 Cummins. It's been a great motorhome and no problems whatsoever. Plenty of power, runs and drives smooth and quiet. Has a 1 piece fiberglass roof with no leaks, 7500 Onan generator that works great, 2 ducted AC units and 2 furnaces, 10 gallon propane/elec. water heater, big 4-door Norcold refrigerator that all work great It seems very solid. Gulf Stream seems to get a lot of slack about quality and customer service issues and granted, it is not a high end motorhome and I consider it to be more of a midline coach but it doesn't cost $200K for a 17 year old motorhome either. The only thing that I can nitpick is that perhaps the cabinetry and some of the construction is not of the best quality. It's not all solid hardwood and it doesn't have the best hinges or drawer tracks, etc. but it's not terrible either. If it's the one that I saw for sale, I definitely think it's worth taking a look at. I also think the price was great. Good luck!
