2005 Gulf stream

Good evening... I have a 2005 Gulf stream sun voyager 8295 and I am looking for the fuses that control the lights in the dinning room slide. The electrical plugs in the slide work and I tested the bulbs too.

Thanks

Eddie

Since these are lights in the slide, and you mention electrical plugs, are you talking 12v or 120v lights?

All 12v DC interior lights would be fused at the house fuse panel. That's the panel that would have fuses for water pump, refrigerator, furnace, water heater, etc.

120v AC lights would be on a circuit breaker in your power panel. Also test and reset all GFI outlets. It would be unusual to protect lights with a GFI outlet, but a possibility.

Often the 12v house fuse panel is right in front of the converter/charger. On my GS it's under the foot of the bed in a small door.

Crawl up in the compartment below the driver seat with a flashlight. There should be a bunch of fuses on panels on the back wall. There will also be at least one or two stickers listing all the fuses and what they are for. Have fun. 120v circuti breakers are in a panel at the foot of your bed. There are also some fuses on a panel under the dashboard , probably on the outside wall. There may be a carpeted panel in front of them.

I found the fuses and the label, unfortunately things did not match up. I tried to make it match the fuse block match the label but pther things stopped working... luckily I took a picture before and I was able to get things back... I was also able to fix one of the ceiling lights but I still cannot figure out those two sconces in the dinning room slide out. I was able to reach Gulf stream and they are suppose to be sending me the wiring schematic but that wad last week and I am atill waiting. I will keep you posted.

We have a 2004 Gulfstream Atrium with 2 sconces in the atrium slide. Now these 2 lights use different bulbs than all the rest in the coach, if yours is like ours look in the bulb socket and see if there are 2 contacts in the socket. A common problem is people will change out the bulbs with a standard 1156 style single contact bulb that will not work in the sconces. If this is the case it takes a 1142 bulb. There is a good chance this is your problem. Had the same thing in our old coach, it was a 1994 Cobra and the 2 bedroom reading lights had the double contact bulbs in them as well but had a single contact bulb in them so they didn't work until I put the right 1142 bulbs in. Hope this helps.
