Has anyone had any problems with the 2008 Gulf Stream Endura Max Gladiator 6370 Single slide toyhauler? Engine MaxxForce 6.4L Chassis INTERNATIONAL

Welcome to iRV2.
Not sure I can help. But my GS has been great. Not a lot of complaints about the International. Except the engine is not a powerhouse.

Pulled a RV specialty report and it says it is a V8, 6.0L, why would this RV Center advertise it as a 6.4L? Please help me!

If it is a 2008 the Maxxforce 7 engine should be a 6.4. 2007 and older was a 6.0. Maybe this is a 2008 built on a 2007 chassis.

found out it is built 7 May 2007, so it has the 6.0 which I am scared to death of.

The 6.0 is much better than the 6.4. The 6.4 burn themselves up from the emissions regen process. Just search on 6.4 problems and they are much worse than 6.0. The aftermarket has fixes for the 6.0 weak links and problem areas. Is the 6.0 completely problem-free? No, but any newer diesel with the emissions is more troublesome than the previous less emissions versions. The new 6.7 (new design, by Ford, not same family as the IH 6.0/6.4 family) so far seems to be pretty good, it uses the DEF instead of the particulate filters and excessive EGR the 6.4 does. A 6.0 has EGR, but no particulate filter. Also, the International version of the 6.0 is called the VT365. One big difference that caused a lot of the Ford 6.0 problems is the lack of coolant filter and use of Ford gold coolant in the Fords. IH has the coolant filter and uses the regular diesel red coolant. This alone is a big improvement and addresses one of the root causes of the Ford 6.0 problems - plugging up of the oil cooler.
BTW, most 6.0 problems are exacerbated by the use of tuners and cranking up the power levels. Keep it near stock and they are significantly less troubles. Give me a 6.0 over a 6.4 any day.
