"96 Conquest Starter Relay Problems

I'm not getting any power to the starter relay from the red wire coming from the starter switch. When I hook a jumper wire from the battery to the relay at that terminal, the engine starts and several electronic components become functional. The dash lights, windshield wipers, etc did not work before. When I remove the wire, the engine dies and the windshield wipers stop working. Any suggestions. Is there a fuse or fusible link between that wire and the switch? All was well last year when I parked the RV. I have checked all connections and all look good.

Any fuse, or fuse wire, would be between the battery and the ignition switch. The same " hot wire" would provide power to the dash ; or an ignition relay ; and the momentary power to the starter relay to crank the engine.
Have you checked the power wire to the ignition switch with a test light or voltmeter?

Thanks for the help. It turns out I had the wire for the power distribution box on the wrong terminal of the starter relay. I appreciate your suggestions.
