A couple of switch questions

I just purchased a 2005 Gulfstream BT cruser. I have no idea what the switch that has the marking quick start behind the driver on the wall next to slide out.
I also wonder if there is a switch to switch from cable to outside ant? The ant power booster that is located under a cabinet over the sink doesn't seem to have any effect on the TV reception. Any one have any answers?

if you flatten the chassis battery and can't start the engine, holding down that switch will allow you to use the coach battery in parallel to start.
some rvs have a video selector switch box in the same cabinet as the antenna cable so you can switch input/output to suite requirements.
is the ant power booster hard wired in that cabinet?

Thanks for the reply, The ant. booster that is under the cabinet over the sink is all I can find. What is interesting is that the main tv will only pick up stations if the ant. is raised. With no increase or decrease in power if booster is on or off. The coach has an outside connector for cable. So some how the main tv must be connected to this cable connection. But again the tv will only pickup stations if ant. is up. The tv has a channel find capability, but will not find the channels, but I still do get local channels. I connected the tv with a cable to the booster output that was over the sink and turned the booster on and the tv then would find the channels.

just so it's clear..
does your booster have a 12vdc outlet plus a push button and a tv cable socket?
on an old rig the push button turned the booster on off, the outside antenna fed into the back and a cable connected the socket to the tv.
the necessity for the booster went the way of the dodo with the end of analogue tv and I reconnected the antenna feed into a digital receiver box and from there to the atsc tuner tv.
however you have a cable input also and on my current rig the switch plate looks similar but switches between cable and antenna. (well it would if anything was connected to it).
I'd still expect your antenna feed to come out at the passenger side overhead cabinet.
if you have a place for a tv in the bedroom, perhaps that panel switches between cable/tv for that feed?
sorry I don't have a definitive answer.

Here'a a link to Gulf Stream's generic 'Motor Home Manual' It might provide some help. Best bet is to copy down make and model of each system in the RV and Google the manuals for each system.

Thanks again for your help. I pulled the booster and found several cables connected to it. The input cable from the power booster went to a three way splitter, and it was broken. I replaced it with a new three splitter but must have connected something wrong. I haven't had a chance to look at it again, but will need to trace the cables to the tv's to find out whats wrong or bad.

I also have just bought a 2005 BT Cruiser. When on antenna I turn the booster ON and when I go to cable I turn the booster OFF and it works great.
