Have you seen the overhead atrium lights on the 2008 BT Cruiser 5291 model?
Does any know if there is a way that I could get these installed on a 2007 BTC 5291?

Have you called Gulf Stream and asked them about this? I have not seen the new lights but if you can find a photo of the two coaches and post them here, we may be able to come up with a way to add them to your coach.

Sorry, I don't know how to post the picture but, it can be seen in the Gulfstream 2008 BT Cruiser model 5291B brochure. They're shown in the photo of the atrium dinnette between the skylights. They were not installed on my 2007 5291B and I would like to upgrade to this feature as we have no light over the table.

Pete, I will try to get time today to look at the brochure and see if I can figure out a way it can be done. Have you considered a battery powered fixture? Some of the new LED's are not only bright but also energy efficient.

We are currently using a clip on light purchased at Wallyworld and have it plugged into the socket below the seat cushion with the wire trailing up the wall behind the window valence.
I know, sounds pretty ugly eh!

Pete, Does the wood trim around windows exists on your coach; how about the front trim with the light in the 08 model, if so does it reach the front facia of the slideout?

No, It just has wood around the sky lights.
Just google the 2007 BT Cruiser 5291B and take a look at the photos of the atrium area.

Pete, when I said windows, I should have said skylights. I am sorry, I have beeen putting in way too many hours. If you adda piece of matching wood the the front edge of the skylight wood trim and it reached the front facia of the slideout room, a wire could first be added to feed power to the lights you want to install. The wire would be run under the wood (notch cut out) of facia, facia removed and again wire run under and around to bottom. Power itself can be picked up from anywhere. The wire will need slack so when the room is retracted it is long enough to reach facia. It could even be a plug in type connection that many towable units use for their lighting. They use a phono plug and receptacle. All in all, it can be done; won't come cheap but do-able.

I'll keep using the clip on until I can possibly pick up an over head light sometime when I'm up North in Elkart area.
