Dash mounted generator switch no power

Looking for the fuses that power the switches on the dash, more specifically the one that powers the generator start switch. Mine quite working, can hit switch on the generator itself and runs fine. Check and found no power to switch, looking to see where it gets powered from, fuses in front right compartment are all good but do not see a label for that specific purpose. 1998 Gulfstream Sunvoyager, Cummins 5.9, propane front mount generator. Thank You

Welcome to iRV2 .

Propane gen set , I can't say for sure .
But my Onan has a fuse behind the control panel for the power to the remote switch.
If you have the gen set make and model there maybe an owner manual available from the manufacturer's web site that'll help you locate the fuse .

Or possibly at this site .

All generator contr wiring is powered at the generator itself, they don't tap into house or chassis power.

Look near the generator for a harness connector that may be coming apart.

What twinboat says and from the link posted by Skip426:
Q. The start switch works at the generator but not from inside of the coach. What is the problem?
A. The remote start/stop control is not connected to the control board. Make sure the remote connector is plugged in to the control at the generator. Check remote switch and wiring.

I can only assume FUSE on the circuit board for the GEN? Battery cable at GEN Panel= Power source, have to protect if the remote wire gets grounded?
