Electrical seat switch short

Hi,

I own a 2008 Gulfstream Yellowstone and I have a problem with the seat switch indicator circuit which prevent actioning the slide out if the driver seat is not in the forward position.

The circuit is short and if I leave the fuse in, it will drain my batteries. So I have removed it (temporarily) but this prevents me from operating the slide out.

Does anyone have acces to a schematic of this 12v circuit. Without this information it will be difficult to troubleshoot further.

Thanks,

Unplug it from the back and see if it still blows the fuse, then just get a switch on Ebay

Seat switch

Thanks for the advise, butthe issue is that the fuse does not blow, the switch is testing OK, but if I leave the fuse in it will drain my batteries.
Obviously there is a short or a failed component.
A scematic would provide some clue as to where to look for.

My 99 GS has Dewald hydraulics; Dewald/ Accuslide/ Powergear are all under the Lippert umbrella now it appears, so maybe this will help, there are diagrams online: https://support.lci1.com/dewald-slide-out-system

Also, on mine, finally determined that the two cube relays (one for each slide/ hydraulic solenoid) at the Hydraulic Pump use the NC (Closed) contacts to control power to slide, and (on mine) the relays are ACTIVATED by the IGN, which OPEN the relay contacts and PREVENTs Slide operation when IGN is ON; pretty simple.
