Entry Door Flaps While Driving

We just purchased a 2002 Gulf Steam Friendship. On our first outing we noticed that the entry door flaps /vibrates - opens to the outside air - while driving down the road. The door seems to close tightly before we start out. Is our problem with door, or installation, or just bad design? Any solutions? Thanks for your time and hopefully help resolving our door problem.

Try setting the dead bolt lock and see if it make a difference. If so the striker for the lock may need adjusting; since it may not allow lock to fully latch or vibrate loose. If it does not solve the problem, look closely at the hinge side of things. The door should close properly to block out any wind noise and not rattle.

Weather stripping on the door can wear out, I put a run of peal and stick around the door jam on my Damon Intruder this winter, made a big difference.

Entry Door Issue

I appreciate the help so far. I've noticed that the door seal isn't very substancial and the door lock/latch has taken a beating over the years. The hinges appear to be in good shape and not too sprung. I'm going to add the foam tape, (just bought some for a separate project), and lock the dead bolt as we travel down the road to see if we have any improvements. We'll let you know!
