Fuel filter location

We are the proud owners of a 2004 Endura 6340 built on a C5500 Kodiak chassis with a Duramax LB7 Diesel engine/ with 65,000 miles on it.

So I did an oil and filter change, I also changed the Allison 1000 automatic transmission screw on filter.

I also have a fuel/water separator filter.
Went looking for the filter location. Couldn’t find it anywhere.
I looked on YouTube found several videos showing three different locations.
1. On the passenger side of the engine (not there)
2. On the driver’s side of the engine (darn it, not there either)
3. On the drivers side frame rail. (Yep you guessed it! Not here either)

Now I’m asking you 2004 Diesel Endura owners what location you have found yours?

Is the fuel filter part of the lift pump? Maybe on top of tank? https://www.bing.com/search?q=Durama...TA1&PC=EDGEDSE
