Generac 4.0 in ClassC
Just bought used Ultra SE Class C.
Previous owner threw out all the manuals.
See many post that have links for manuals, but none for mine.
004700-0 will not start.
Found starter, and am about to stumble through dropping the genny.
Would really like some info, but guess my 2005 is just too old.

How many hours are on it?
Just do a quick internet search with the model number and it is very easy to get downloadable owners and parts manuals.
I have that genny too. What's going on? Will it not turn over? Or, it turns over, but won't start?

186.0
This RV was parked most of its life. Just replaced the original Uniroyal tires yesterday as she has a little over 13,000 miles on her.
Hit start, only get a click. Like battery cables bad, but bypasses cables with jumper cables to good battery, exact same result.
Want to find service manuals, but no luck.
Owners and parts are there, but not service.

Yours is a similar situation to mine. What tires did you go with?
I'm sorry the generator won't cooperate. Have you tried calling the Generac toll-free number or a local retailer to see if they would sell you a service manual?
I'm curious if time has caused the motor or starter to seize up. I wish you good luck. I'm happy to be a sounding board if you want to keep posting updates on your progress here.

Went with Michelin. This will be my third set. Put them on my one ton Chevy, to tow my 40' Fifth wheel. Got 70,000 miles out of them.
Think I figured out how to remove the generator, but had to move camper, so now don't have a good work surface,

Many/ most/ all Class C Gens are connected to main tank, but tapped at 1/4-tank, so gen will not run below 1/4-tank, and will suck air; make sure main tank over 1/4; designed so genny will not run you out and leave you stranded in boonies...

Turned out to be starter solenoid contactor. Not sure how anybody could go about pulling the genny. Had to sever power line from genny to RV. Not enough wire length to remove it.
Now to get it running correctly. Carb cleaner should help with surging under load. I hope.
