Gulfstream 1994 scenic cruiser

We just purchased this coach from an older gentleman that has stored it for the last several years. It is in good shape and everything seem to work as I have gone through all the plumbing, fuses, new tires etc. the problem I am having is the A/C. When it is plugged to shore power, I have done everything I know to get it to come on. I have to unplug, start generator, shut it down, fire up the main coach engine, then start the A/C. What am I missing? I know this is not the proper procedure . When running, A/C work great. Then I can shut the main engin down. I know this is long but this one has stumped me.

The AC controls are 12 volts. It sounds like the 12 volts to the control is low. Check the output of the 12 volt converter.
