Gutters vs No Gutters?

So I have a 99-GS Conquest Class-C w/ no gutters, and (suspect) gutters (might) help keep it CLEANER? Anyone added and have an observation/ COMMENTS? IF SO, TIPS on where to install? Across back also? I am also thinking w/ slope to the rear? Tape adhesive and then silicone TOP edge?

First, I'd strongly suggest NOT to use silicone. It'll look good for a few weeks, but then the silicone will start to get dirt adhered to it and eventually fail to adhere to the surface. Removing all residue of the silicone is near impossible and will prevent other caulks from sticking.

If the sides of the RV are streaking from roof runoff, it might be time to reseal or clean the roof. Waxing the sides will also help repel dirt. Rain gutters will just divert runoff to the gutter channels and not really solve the problem.
