Map Lights

I have a 2008 T40B and for whatever reason, the map lights have opted not to work. Checked the fuse. Good, replaced it anyway. Checked power from the fuse block, good. Checked the bulbs, no black indicating burned out.
We are parked for the summer and use the map light as a secondary step light for the dogs at night.
Is there a hidden fuse somewhere I don't know about? I tried when I purchased the coach to obtain a wiring diagram and was told they (GS) did not have any for that year coach (?).
Any thoughts/suggestions on where I may start looking?
Thank you,
Bob

Try rotating the Cargo/dome light switch. Mine has to be in the right position for the map lights to work.

That was the first item I checked, then went to the fuse, then to the bulbs. Nothing. They were working up to a couple of days ago, then...

Bob, check power at fixture. If you do not have any; check the ground. You may have just lost the ground conductor instead of B+

Map Lights

Looking at the wire bundle, I don't have any idea where to look for a ground for those lights. I was able to trace the wire into the bundle, then it went up behind the TV and ?
All other 12v items work in the coach. Just seems weird that one day I had lights, then next I didn't.
I did put a meter on the light, had to disconnect the back from it and no joy there.
When it stops raining, I will go out and check the fuse panel again and see if there is a loose wire in that area.

Update. Once again when one thinks they have checked all bases, the most obvious jumps up and slaps them.
The chassis battery had run down (we are sitting for the summer doing workamping). I started the coach using the emergency start switch and the lights now work. Any recommendations on what I should use to keep the chassis batteries healthy?
Thanks to all for your assistance.
Bob

Mike,
Thank you for your assistance. Did what you suggested and ordered a Trik L Start from RV Upgrades. Should have it installed next week.
Thanks again,
Bob
