New but not

Hello All! I am a old/new member.
2007 Crescendo 8386 CRE. Any helpful info for a new Gulfstream owner is helpful. My last rig was a 2001 Winnebago. It was a nice rig. I am so lost with the features on this model I will need so help familiarizing myself all around! Please point me in the right direction! Previous owners didn’t have a lot of manuals or instructions so I’m feeling my way around. Things I’ve noticed.
1) it appears someone removed the original mounted water filter and bypassed. What was it originally?
2) I found an outlet in one dr side bay that was burnt where someone unplugged a cord. No idea what it goes to.
3) also found a square apparatus in the front compartment that is disconnected also.

In order to not take up this area, if someone is familiar with the Crescendo, I can send pics, etc in another forum or email.
Thanks to all!!

Hi Richard! Welcome to IRV2! We’re sure glad you joined the gang here!

Congrats on the new rig! One of our Moderators has moved your post. You can now post pics and ask more questions here. Have fun and keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

As far as I know the filter housing looks like a standard whole house canister type that are available at any big box store. I have no clue why anyone would remove it, unless yjey had an external system that worked better.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I will post a couple pics with questions soon. I have a lot of RV experience, but I am not familiar with the Gulfstream models. I need to charge to cab air and pretty sure its ports are located at the front of the rig, which I found weird since the engine is located in the rear. Thanks again.

I suggest you start a single folder on PC w/ subfolders by Brand, model#, description, and starting with chassis, the go around pencil, paper and cell camera and take pictures of all appliances and labels for brand/ model and start recliner internet search for OWNER MANUALS, PARTS LIST/ IPB and SERVICE MANUALS. Good Luck
