New trailer blues..

Last year my husband was diagnosed with a life threatening disease in which he has to have a transplant. Right now he's on a transplant list, but post surgery we have to stay within 60 miles of the hospital in case of complications. We live 1 1/2 hours away. We found out the hospital has free r.v. hookups and spaces. After doing the math for a hotel and eating take-out, a camper was a more affordable option. It was something we wanted anyway. I spent two months of hard core research and comparing and found my camper cutie. A 2025 Gulf Stream Enlighten 17bh. It was something we could afford and it hit all our targets. I was a cinched with the fact our Chrysler Pacifica can tow it. It was bought in November and now it's March and it's never been used. It's been in the shop for TWO MONTHS. Some of it was our fault, we broke a sink and didn't winterize it (against my nagging to). But, they are sending us a bill every week because something new broke! I'm very, very downhearted and discouraged. I have a new trailer that I can't use. My husband "thinks" he can fix it all. He can do a lot of things but a plumber and electrician he isn't. Just blue. Anyone else bought one and it was falling apart before use?

Freeze damage from improper or lack of winterization is hardly falling apart.. I'm sorry to hear about your husband's situation and hope he recovers.

Not done...

Yes, just freezing damage would be great. No, the tankless water heater has a tear in the wall of unit and has to be replaced, the door jam had to be refitted it wasn't put in properly, we couldn't find the wall plate in wall to mount a t.v....they can't find it either, etc. Under a time crunch in case hospital calls. I told them to see what the x-warranty would cover. Thank for the kind words. Prayers.
