NewBee w/baggage

Hey y'all! I am a firmly planted central Texan, new to the iRV2 Forum and new to owning/operating a Motorhome. I recently bought a 2006 Gulfstream Yellowstone, 35'er, sitting on an Ford F53, V-10 Triton chassis. It came with issues! The biggest issue being levelers that do not work. I've been told the 140-1179 touch pad, could be bad, and there are no replacements or by-pass to fix the issue. I can get the slides (x3) in and out, but my galley slide wants to pop out at the bottom. I've got a mechanic working on it, but everyone (including the folks a Lippert) are scratching their heads on a way to fix it right. When I turn on the ignition, all the lights blink on the touchpad and none of leveling gear works. Has anyone else had a similar problem? If so, what was your fix? Standing by for any information that will help. I have all the manuals for it, just can't seem to pinpoint the issue.
