Radio Replacement

I want to replace the radio in our Sun Voyager but am told that it is a Din 1.5 which are not made any longer. Need to be Din 1 or Din 2 now days. Has anyone found a Din 1.5 for replacement or did the dash have to be modified for the standard size?

A single Din radio opening is 100 mm high by 180 mm wide. A Double Din is 200 mm by 180 mm. Many radios can fit in your 1.5 Din opening, go to any audio shop and they should be able to provide you with a face plate adaptor to fit a 1 din radio in the 1.5 din dash opening. Or you can shop on line:

There are also many 1.5 din Stereos listed here:

In addition, according to the 'real estate' available around your dash opening, there are many 1 din stereos with larger tilt screens that would hide the dash opening.

I replaced our 1.5 DIN with a 2.0 DIN with only having to slightly enlarge the hole in the dash, which there was room to accomplish.
