Angry Replacing Linoleum flooring

The bathroom flooring split over the winter and I am looking to replace it with a more durable product. Recommendations? TIA

I previously owned a FW trailer, that over a number of harsh Winters, linoleum split/cracked, as yours did. I have a friend that owns an RV dealership, so talked to him about repairing it. He said he has a guy that installs new linoleum for him, and that his repairman had just finished installing factory supplied replacement linoleum in 3 brand new trailers on his lot, due to severe cold.

When buying my last new FW, trading the other, the dealer said "your new FW linoleum will not crack from severe cold. It is purpose designed for RVs sitting unheated in the cold".

So you should be able to find same type, better quality linoleum to replace yours. Mine now, after several very cold Winters, no problem yet.

An option

I have a '97 Gulfstream Tourmaster. The manufacturer placed carpet under the shower/tub and washer/dryer combo unit, which, over time, caused rot and mold. The flooring is a panel of galvanized steel, plywood, foam, and OSB for the top layer. So here's what I did to fix the problem permanently. Stripped the inside OSB and foam out. Sanded all the rusted metal and then primed with a rust inhibitor. The next step was to use a faced foam board; all joints were taped with aluminum tape, then 1/2 inch marine plywood. Now for the interesting bit. I bought a bi-weave fiberglass matting to which I applied a layer of laminating resin and then a final coat of white gel coat. I now have a waterproof section that runs from the bedroom all the way to the kitchen. For flooring options, I chose to put together teak wood tiles. If I were doing it again, I'd opt for the fake marine teak laminate due to its easy installation.

I had the same issue with our Sunova, the vinyl split over one winter. I replaced with self stick vinyl squares. Looked great and was holding up strong when I sold a couple years later.

After assuring the sub-floor was sound, I put Luxury Vinyl Plank over the existing linoleum. I am very happy with the results.
