Seeking a to-do list for hookup and arriving

Hi, i just bought a nice 2007 Conquest 5th wheel very clean and im planning to travel the USA for the next few years.

I am totally new to this and this is my first trailer. I would like to get a basic list of what to do while hooking up and packing, and things to do when you arrive at the campsite and unhook.

I found a few online but not specifically for 5th wheels or this brand.

Thanks so much...

Welcome to iRV2.

I don't recall seeing any list posted here in the forums , but you could poke around in the " Files " drop box by clicking on the word in the dark blue bar , near the left end , below the Google search box.

For most RVers, any list is kind of personal AND constantly evolving.

Heard of one RVer who spent time leveling his trailer after disconnecting from the truck , then went to plug into power , only to find the park post had a defective circuit breaker , and no employee in the park to do electrical, till the next morning, so he had to hook up and move to another site.
So connecting to power and checking it, first thing when stopped in the site , went to the top of his list.

Thanks for the quick reply. I really wish i would have video recorded the walk around at the dealership, they did a great job but i had no idea it would be that much info and most of it i dont remember.

Ill have to start with something basic and modify as needed.

I've mentioned to a couple of people to carry a video camera to the delivery walk through.
Anyhow , I'm on my 5th RV; 4 , 5ers and the current coach, and like I said , my list is still evolving .

Safe travels.

EDIT: I'll add ; we're here to help with info and ideas , so never be afraid to ask questions .
The only dumb question is the one you don't ask , and ends up kicking you in the wallet.

I downloaded an ap from the ap store called RV Checklist. You can customize it to your needs and it has arrival and departure templates.

We like RVChecklist. A free app for either android or apple. It is customizable so you can put in all sorts of stuff to check off as you go.
