Angry Slide out stopped working

2005 Gulf Stream BT Cruiser 5230. All of a sudden today the slide out stopped working! Any suggestions? Locks are out, seat all the way forward, battery full charge.... what am I missing? Any idea what or who manufactured the slide? I think its Lippert but dont know what kind of slide. Think its all electric, no hydraulics but this is all new to me so Im not sure...... Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

Welcome to iRV2

I've worked on a couple of different Lippert slide drive systems .

Is the , park brake set and the warning light " ON " on the dash ?
Is there any noise at all when you try to extend the slide ?
Anything in the owners manual; about manual operation of the slide ?

Check fuses, wiring at switch, wiring at motor and the switch itself for proper function.

There are 3-5 each 12vdc CIRCUIT BREAKERS BESIDE BATTERY; one feeds the slide, one feeds STEPS, one connects to POWER CENTER, ONE to GEN starter, etc.

Angry Slide inop

OK.. so far I have checked to make sure the seat is forward, brake and warning light on, battery at 12.9V, switch good continuity on both the "in" and "out" side. When I check the wires for the switch (with the battery power on) I am only getting .04 dcv on both the "in" and "out" side. Not sure what to look for or even what the slide motor looks like. There is a long black plastic looking thing mounted to the frame under the slide. Is that the motor? Thanks guys/gals for your help. This is so frustrating...

The , plastic looking thing, maybe the slide drive ; but lack of voltage to the switch has to be dealt with first .

I would think that in your RV there is a fuse panel with a " blown fuse led " that is passing the trace power you're getting at the switch .

Angry Slide not working

I checked and reset the 3 breakers located in the battery compartment. I will reset them again. I have not had to have the engine running to operate the slide. Any idea what the dc voltage at the switch should be? I will send pictures later today.

You reset, BUT DID YOU VERIFY w/ METER that one was tripped and that all three RESET? "Replacing bulb x 6 will do not good if Switch is Bad, or lamp unplugged"

p.s. If you have 3, I guess 1)=GEN STARTER, 2)= Step, 3) = slide

GMore, FUSE LOCATED Where? Most would have manual reset 12vdc circuit breakers?
Is that a Class-A rig? Usually, any fuse= JUST CONTROLS, where motor/ pump current= CBreaker

Some models driver seat slide kill SAFETY switch , seat must be fully forward to prevent slide damage; some (like hydraulic models) have CUBE RELAYS for safety circuits, relays can be damaged or fail, or unplugged
