speedometer

I have a 94 Gulfstream Scenic Cruiser with what I assume is an electronic speedometer, that has developed, it appears, a mind of it's own. With the ignition on, but no movement, it will register speeds up to about 75. Can anyone tell me where the sending unit is located ? (or anything else that might help solve this problem ?)

What chassis is the coach on? You could contact the chassis mfg. for help on this one as well. I wonder if a loose ground could cause this type of problem.
