Stuck fuel pedal

Have a 1995 Gulfstream scenic cruiser a bit old but nice ride and great layout.
I went to start it up after putting fresh batteries in and it cranks well but gives no indication of starting. I usually do not have to touch the gas pedal, as it usually starts easily after a short crank. the fuel pedal appears to be stuck, it does not move with the application of any reasonable force. Has anyone experienced this problem,? Thank you !

Welcome to iRV2 .

Sorry your first post is about problems .

Questions .
Is your coach a diesel pusher ?
Is your throttle air operated or cable ?
Can you post info on your coach engine.
And chassis manufacturer

If this has a mechanical link between the pedal, it's probably a cable and is possibly kinked or rusted. You might loosen it with a good stomp on that pedal but you might also break that cable. If a cable, someone needs to get under, trace the run and check it out. My guess is the obstruction will be near the pedal. Also, after working on motor vehicles for many years have also found pedal linkages locked up, usually under the dash and either rusty, jammed or broken. With all that said, if it's a 'fly by wire' system with no mechanical, only electrical link, the sender end or fuel injector end may be locked up - but that usually wont stop pedal movement

Ok 230 HP Cummins ( no g ) in 1995 should be a 12 valve engine with a P-7100 mechanical injection pump .

Passenger side of the engine looking down at the throttle connections , will look similar to the picture below.
If you can take a photo of this area on your coach , and a side on photo of your throttle pedal , and post them here , maybe we can be of more help .
Info on posting photos in this link.
