Thoughts on Gulf Stream Conquest "Super C" RV?
I'm thinking of getting a 2nd rv to leave down south year round and just fly down to go snow birding in winter. Allegiant air Bellingham to palm springs is under $100.00, fuel in my current beast round trip is around $1000! plus the I-5 is in such poor shape, it feels like The 3000m road trip is equivalent to 30,000m on a freshly paved road! I Just hate the shake rattle and roll down the I-5!
Any ways, I am looking at a 2008 Gulfstream Conquest "super C" 34' Bunkhouse model, in really nice shape with only 10k miles on it. It is on a Chevy Kodiak c5500 platform with 8.1 V8 and Allison 1000 tranny, not quite a diesel, but close. We would use it as a hotel and take short trips around the south west!
Any body have experience pro or con, with Super c's or this particular model?
Chime in please
Milo
