Transmission flush - which tranny do I have?

2002 Gulfstream Conquest 26' E-350 V10

When I put the specs into autozone, It gives 2 tranny options

4R70W
4R100

Which one is most likely the tranny?

I suppose I could remove pan and be verify the filter is for one or the other, or buy both and return the unused.

Be sure you use the correct fluid. I had to go to Ford to get it.

A few items to address.

1 - All Ford 4R100 automatics use Mercon-V (5)
2 - You can buy Mercon-V fluid at almost any auto parts store or even Wally World. It does not need to be Motorcraft brand.
3 - Your Gulfstream is a 2002 model year but there is a good chance that the chassis under it is 2001. Check the chassis build plate or VIN to know for sure. While it doesn't affect the trans fluid it might be important when obtaining other chassis parts.
4 - It would have been more appropriate to post this question in the Ford Motorhome Chassis Forum.
Not trying to be a jack-wagon, just providing friendly guidance.

When I flushed my F53 (V10 and 4R100), I used 5 gallons of Valvoline ATF synthetic. Its available at Walmart for about $18 a gallon

Mirada – Ford F53 Transmission flush – 2001 Coachmen Mirada 300QB

Thanks all for advice. It was a 4r100. Chassis is an 02. The stock pan was shallow 3.6" vs 4.8" deep sump. I used raybestos shallow pan filter and supertech merconv. Removed and replaced 19qts using the method posted on the ford trucks site.
