I have a Magnum 2000 watt inverter that is pure sinewave that was in my last coach. It's newer and pure sinewave so I'm thinking of swapping out the Trace. Has anyone here done such an upgrade? Any issues with the current wiring that had to be changed? I would have to add the auto generator start module which is built into the Trace but an add on module with the Magnum but it's not too expensive so I'm ok with that if it can be done without too much trouble. Just looking for any tips from someone who has done this mod.

Have changed out several inverters, same wiring for all, sinewave makes no difference except to 120 volt appliances, which generally run better on pure sinewave. If you have a remote inside coach, need to check wiring from inverter to remote, most use a telephone type cable but some use 6 connectors and some use 8. So might have to modify it or run new cable to new remote. Assuming you have a bypass transfer switch that bypasses inverter completely when on sp or gen. If using transfer switch in inverter make sure same or greater capacity. You will probably have to change some settings to match your batteries.
