1997 CC Intrigue
Hi everyone I'm new to RVing and I bought a 1997 Country Coach intrigue 40' It has 8.3 cummins. The rig didn't come with manuals, and I was wondering if there are any resources out there as to where I could procure them? I probably could get away with a 1996 manual as my coach was built at the beginning of 1997 and still has the Gilig chassis not the in house chassis that Country Coach changed to later in 1997.

You might try Oregon Motorcoach. They purchased all of the CC parts, intellectual property, and some molds from Winnebago.

If someone has the 1997 Gillig based manuals in digital format, they could send a copy to you.
I have a 1995 Magna manual that I could send, but there are some differences that might not be helpful to you.

What is the production number of your Intrigue? Should be 10xxx.

I own 2 intrigues. One is a 2004 40’ suite sensation and the other is a 1997 36’ horizon. It is on a Gillig chassis like yours I do have most all the manuals to the other systems. Most are on paper not electronic. Way too many to photo copy but If there are any specific things you would like I’d be glad to send you what I have. Here are the systems on my 36

Thanks for the response, and the photo. I don't even have that sticker, a previous owner must have ripped it off the vanity cabinet door. I kind of feel like I'm dealing with this thing blind without a manual. As I'm a diy kinda person. I very much appreciate the offer to send copies of what I need, but there are so many systems on this thing I don't know where to start. I guess the chassis is probably a good place to start. I don't even know what HP Cummins 8.3 is. Thanks again

Again, I have the 1995 Gillig Chassis manuals digital.
I have the 1995 Country Coach Magna Manuals digital.
The Chassis manuals are probably generic between the two vintages.
The Magna seems to have components in different locations than the Intrigue, but I would guess there may be many similarities in wiring systems and parts.
Both sets have a parts manual and a user manual.
PM if you want copies.
The engine HP is probably on the engine or Gillig can likely tell you by the VIN.
I would guess 325hp if a C8.3L Cummins. You also may find that info by model on the NADA listing for your rig.

I have some of the manual from 99 Intrigue that another kind soul had scanned and passed on to me! This thing is 335 megabytes tho so I would have to send to you via google drive, dropbox or such?
It is 77 or so pages, BIG JPG files but has the schematic etc that is nice. Shoot me a message and I can try to send you what I have. It someone had the time to edit these images all down and convert to PDF it probably would be a nice asset to have.
Rumor has it if you join CCI (one of the clubs) they have files there you can download but I have not tried that yet.
