2 wire MCD shade programming needed

Windshield day shade was lowered to the dash while parked and wouldn't retract when it was time to get underway. I was going to attempt programming the stops to see if that resolved the issue. The problem is I cant find hide nor hair of any "programming" switch or wires to touch together. There is only a fine two conductor wire leading out of each shade motor and no additional wires.

Tech help at MCD today claimed they must have been cut off, or I simply cant see them.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

This is a pic of the drivers side, the windshield has the same wiring.

On my coach the cabinet left of the driver is only storage.
The day shades operate from the left hand bank of switches.
The privacy shade switches are in the panel above the exit door on the right.

Pulled the shade assembly down. Still only two wires (no programming wire)
Bewildered on if these are "Programmable" I do know that the day shade was limited in down travel while the engine was running, so there must be some sort of stop. The joy of dealing with an orphan.
Did get the a pic of the ID tag:

When I find the solution, I'll post it for y'all.

These are 2 wire MCD shades.

There is a procedure to program them. MCD said they were "looking for the instruction file" (After they told me the wires had been cut off and I needed to order a motor)

OMC said they would send me the file....thats been a few days.

If anyone has these programming instruction, I'd sure appreciate them!

The MCD instructions at [https://mcdinnovations.com/info-for-...it-adjustment] explain how to program the shade even if the "learning key" switch is lost or disconnected.

Hope this helps!

Tom,
I went through all the MCD site, the instructions all pertain to different shades.
These are a "two wire" shade with no other wires.

One customer service person who I'd been emailing at MCD said she couldn't find the instructions but thought maybe there was a button in the hole pictured that is pushed to program them. This is plausible but not knowing the correct sequence, I was awaiting better instructions.

I also talked to Oregon Motor Coach and they said they would email a .pdf for instructions but have not received those even after a couple of follow up emails. Probably need to call them again.

Anyway, when I find that pdf, I will post it here.

/Greg

Found the instructions and was able to get the night shade stops set. However the day shade motor seems to be toast.

In my first post, second picture, in that hole is a micro switch that you depress in conjunction with the shade operating switch to enter the programming.

I had that problem with shades. Decided it was the switch. Pulled the switch and in the process shades started working. I assume corrosion on terminals. I used the switch from my original window shades on my Monaco. Glad it works because i have not found replacement switch. I hope yours is that simple.

Using the switch and pressing the programming button, I was able to get the beeping showing it was in programming mode. Also checked voltage at the shade and it was correct and reversing polarity when the switch was depressed the other direction.

Also with the shade motor on the bench I hooked it up to a good 12v battery and I get no movement, just beeps. I’m never that lucky!

Quick followup.
I bought two replacement shade motors. (I'll have a spare original motor for the other shades)
Slight modification was needed on the end bracket to accommodate the new motors. Two holes 5/32 drilled at the 2 and 10 o'clock position to the center.

Now programming:
These new motors have a "yellow" wire that goes to the ignition as well as the wire with the programming bulb. However, I'm replacing 2-wire motors. The motor won't go into program mode until that yellow wire has power.

Oddly, I touched the yellow wire to the positive side of a 9V battery and presto, It went into program mode.
