If you have a Silverleaf type computer on the dash you can check to make sure you are getting full boost from the turbo. A few years back our coach seemed to not have the power up hills it should have and it was a leak in the turbo system.

It is also true big heavy motorhomes take a while to get going. The size also makes it seem like you are not going so fast. My old GMC motorhome had a few things done on it to add power and when you stepped on the gas hard in that coach you could easily spin the front wheels. But it weighed 12,000 lbs. Our Country Coach weighs 42,000 lbs.
