2002 Allure Chassis question

It's a Dynomax chassis but the seller can't tell me if it's independent front suspension. I'm pretty sure they all were by that year but need to find out before making a 200-mile trip.

I have the vin# but not sure where to look to see if I can find out. I had a 2000 with solid front axle and wouldn't want another one.

EASY!

Have them look under the front of the coach.

It will either have a solid axle going from one steering knuckle to the other OR IFS.

If the seller can't do that much, I would seriously question that they know anything about what they are selling.

BUT, not sure I would make a decision on buying a coach based on front suspension.

It's actually a dealer but the guy I spoke with didn't know anything, deferring to another guy who won't be back till next week. I

would still have my other CC if it hadn't been mostly destroyed in a hurricane. Having said that, its limited turning radius prevented me from getting a lot pf places I'd like to go, and I prefer to pull a trailer so that was another big problem.

Perhaps I am making this simpler than it is in this case, but if the "not knowledgeable" guy sticks his cell phone under the nose and takes a picture, you would have your answer.

According to Damon’s web site all 2000+ Country Coaches were IFS, some 1999 Magna’s and Affinity’s had IFS as well.
