The rod in the link below is what I use to catch the loop at the center of the awning and pull the awning down.

https://www.woodlandtravelcenterstor...ning-pull-rod/

At each end of the awning tube in the rolled up position, there is an awning travel lock to keep the awning from billowing or flopping while the MH is in the travel mode.

The above rod also needs to be inserted into the awning lock holes and the lock pulled to the down position before pulling on the center strap.....!

I do not know what the crank is that you have in the picture.

I also do not know what a powered ZipDee awning looks like.

But your pictured awning looks very similar to my manual awning.

The winch is used to bring in your main slide in an emergency. I believe it hooks to your dinette table mount, and to a hook that is located under your kitchen sink.

Oh, and by the way...,nice coach!
Drove the same coach with the ISL for a few years. Sold it to a couple that lives in your area.

Poster above is correct about the winch. The picture of the front of the coach shows a manual Zip Dee awning, it is not electric.

Follow Deans directions to deploy the awning. You could call Zip Dee and get a manual for that awning
