2003 Magna Steps

I want to have the door open with steps out, shut off my domestic batteries, take the key out of the ignition, go down the steps, shut the door, and have the steps retract behind me.

I'm almost certain I was able to do this once a week or so ago but now for the life of me can't figure it out again.

Is there a secret combination?

Thanks,

Jerry

Jerry,
The answer is with the (Kwikee) "Steps" toggle switch mounted (with other switches) just to the right inside the door on the front lower dash area. It took me a few times to get the hang of it too. Close the door while you're inside turn on the ignition key so the steps come in. Turn off the ignition, and BEFORE opening the door, turn OFF the step switch. Thereafter, whenever you open the door the steps should come out and when you close the door the steps should retract.
