2004 Intrigue Turn Signal Flasher Location

Howdy folks,

First real trip for us. On our way to Phoenix to visit friends and families. Trying to locate the flasher can. Is there one for turn signals and one for flashers?
Issue is we have turn signals and flashers without Head Lights on once we turn on head lights we loose right turn and with head lights off and driving lights on we get right turn on dash illuminated and when we try to mechanically toggle right turn both tail lights flash.

I was hoping the flasher can was a culprit

Anyway appreciated any ideas to locate

greg

Just another thought - smartwheel also connects to headlight marker lights for flash function. Don’t think it is related but wondering if can disable smartwheel connection to headlights marker lights and repeat problem?

Yup mine looks something like that as well. There was a small cabinet in front of passenger seat and when I took it out there it was. Along with some other electrical ...even a fuse panel that is hard to get to ???
When I learn to post pics I'll put them up
Changing out the flasher did not remedy....must be a grounding issue somewhere?

Thanks for the help,
greg

Havent found out how to try that. But funny thing was with lights off and having right turn on or hazard depressing the flash function right turn still works and hazards work.
Must be something in the running/Parking light circuit???I'm leaning towards a ground issue but now how to find the dang thing

Appreciate the help,
greg

2004 Intrigue right turn & Flashers dont work when Headlighs on Fixed

Posted earlier about trying to locate the flasher can on our 2004 Intrigue.
Found it behind small cabinet in front of passenger seat (4 screws and out it came)e
Issue was turn signals and flashers worked when Park/Headlights were off. But when either was on right turn would illuminate but would not flash nor would hazard lights.
Then I noticed that when park/headlights were off and right turn was flashing the left turn was dimly flashing.
Replaced both 1157 bulbs and the 1156 turn signal bulbs applied dielectric grease to base and contacts. Also applied same to all the blade connections for the taillights.
All is working great now
Greg
