2006 Inspire Front End Torsion/Stabilizer Bar
We just purchased a 2006 Inspire, Production Order # 51655 in Junction City 2 weeks ago. Driving back to So. Calif I heard a noise. After getting the front end up on some solid wood blocks with air bags deflated for safety, I discovered that the 1/4" steel bracket connected to the frame that holds the Torsion/Stabilizer Bar has broken in half and is partially missing.
This also tweaked the bracket mounted in the center of the front end that the Ride Height Control is attached to. Coach is riding to high in the front and is bouncing real bad.
Has anyone experienced a problem like this and do you know anyone that is experienced in this Holland Built Chassis? Holland Model # IFS - 1144 CC D
Serial # D050009790 or D
Part #!90548093

Update on Broken Torison Bar
Went on Source Engineering's web site and found that they have a dealer, Colton Truck Teriminal in Colton, Calif..
Took pictures to them and they said this problem is common and they stock the parts. Since I did the original post I discovered that the front wheels on both sides hit the torsion bar on tight turns. When I take it in next week for repair, I will see if there is an adjustment that can be made so that this does not happen again.
Thanks Again for the information!
