Thermostat makes sense, as it's a type of switch, not controlled otherwise but by temperature. OP's might have gone caput. Get a new t-stat and set it at 40 deg C you should be good. I installed an in-line t-stat for a custom installed fan in inverter compartment and set it at 40C all is good.

I would also offer this thought. It's very likely might be a lot of your electronics have been switched out to more modern equipment as have mine. Newer stuff runs a lot cooler than the old stuff

I ran out of time yesterday but did look at the adjacent cabinet with the leveler controls as wfalch suggested. I didn't delve into it as everything in that cabinet is surface mounted and will take a little more finesse than just removing a few screws (maybe).

Yes - squirrel cage fan in bottom of the entertainment cabinet is controlled by a thermostat behind the overhead right door (2007 Allure). Thermostat is in upper right corner beside entertainment unit 120V plug.

I thought it was 12V? Can't remember for sure....

Thanks BrianGlenn! That shows me what I need to know. It has to be a bad TStat because it hasn't shut off since I got it home last Saturday, it's been relatively cool and haven't turned on the electronics in that cabinet.

If I get it that far open, I am also going to add a switch.

Good question wfalch. What locks that equipment drawer in place BrianGlenn? Mine seemed fixed when I took the front cover off.

Mine was built on a 3/4'" plywood with 4 heavy drawer slides (which only come part way out) The plywood was then screwed down with 10X 2' screws. The ride down from Seattle last summer was so rough that the screws popped out. Had to use 15' cable ties to keep it in.

The pull out inner cabinet looks about the same as my '09 Magna.

Fixed it from help here!

I took the adjacent panel face off and got to the thermostat. I had to adjust it to almost the max hot setting to get the fan to turn off. It's easy enough to get to now that I know how, so I will keep an eye on it and replace if necessary.

Thanks!

I was thinking the same thing when I opened it up.

Same. #10 screws - if I remember there were two screws once the black plastic cover panel was removed. glass door and hinges removed to remove cover panel.
