2010 Magna Vivaldi

Saw a Andrew Steele video on a rig for sale says a 2010 Magna Vilvadi.
I always thought 2008 was the end of CC with a few labeled 2009 but 2010?
Hoping someone can clear my confusion on the history? Thx

I think some folks tried to resurrect the brand then.

In speaking with Damon Rapozo he was quite clear that very late 2008 and newer units have a real problem with the cabinetry as they were not produced in the CC factory and kind of bodged together by individual owners rather than factory employees..

YMMV

There were a few rigs sold at the country coach auction that were at different stages of completion . I figured whomever bought them would complete them and likely the completion date would be the year they were titled.

I have a 2009 CC, it was delivered in June 2008. In reading how build dates work if a coach is built after February of a year it can be branded the following year so I suspect a 2010 was possibly build in March of 2010. This shared, I was in a 2010 Magna last year and it looked much like my 2009.

2010 Vivaldi

Probably the very last one assembled by whoever was left there to do it at that time. Even though the company was officially BK, they still managed to "squeak" out a unit or 2 with the leftover materials. This one was probably assembled in 2009 after August which is the model year cutoff and titled as a 2010. CC didn't make anything in 2010 that I know of. A lot of stuff went to Auction, including atleast 1 body that was produced, but didn't get an interior. I'm pretty sure the last "Prevost" shells they had were sold to Legendary. You'll notice a lot of similarity between the Legendary and Country Conversions, its by no accident, same guys built em.

Legendary was a "very noble" attempt to take the best of Marathon and Country Coach and blend it together! It was a simple, but elegant and modern combo of Marathon's style and Country Coach' reliable conversion systems.

If Jay Howard had woken up on the other side of the bed the morning he decided to implement the "Veranda" concept, then CC would have survived a lot longer. Such a shame. Recession didn't help, BUT neither does spending all your cash to invent a really ridiculous feature that was the NAIL ON THE COFFIN for CCI.

2010 Magna Vivaldi

We have a 2010 Magna Vivaldi 7036. It was delivered to the original owner in September 2009. The msrp list was $779k. We have owned it for 3 years. 2nd owners. When CC still had an independent parts department under Winnibego I spoke with the manager who explained to me that during and immediately following the bankruptcy their were coaches thrown together with whatever was left on the shelves. But later the bank or investor funded completion to the last of the units. And they used better components and workers weren’t rushed to complete. And that we might have one of the best construed coaches that was ever built. Other that the #6 valve problem we’ve had no issues. And that’s a Cummins failure. No reflection on CC.
