3M WV-B2 Water Filter

We have the 3M WV-B2 water filter in our MH. I was reading the filter should be changed every 6 months. In addition to this I was chatting with a 30 year full timer the other day and he shared how important it is to have a good water filter, he suggested using a charcoal filter and changing the charcoal often. With this in mind I thought I would ask other CC owners that they are doing:

1. How often you are changing your water filter?
2. Where are you buying your replacement filters from?
3. Have you upgraded or changed your water filter system?
4. If you have changed, to what system did you change?
5. Do you change the fridge filter at the same time you change the coach filter?

I have an onboard standard carbon filter that I change annually (or as needed), and a dual cannister inline for city water prior to my water softener. The inline filter contains a 5micron sediment filter followed by a carbon filter. The sediment filter is changed about every 3 months and the carbon filter block about every 6-12 months.

I buy my filters from The RV Filter Store, which is also where I purchased my inline canister filter.
