Actual height of 2002 CC Allure to top of ACs
Trying to determine the true actual height of my 37 foot Allure #30752 with 295 tires for purposes of evaluating a winter covered parking place. I can lay down antennas but that is all.
Looked in all the places I could think of, the manuals and specification sheets there, data plates, etc. Found plenty of information about width but zero about height.
Thanks!

Is the coach near you? Tape measure works pretty good and probably more accurate.
Our coach - there is a label on the dashboard - this, of course, assuming nothing taller has been added by subsequent owners.

This one under 'Body' lists height as 12'1"
http://motnac.com/coachrv/country_co...ure--36--C1833
Instead of relying on any published numbers it is BEST practice to measure for actual height
2 people, long straight edge and measuring tape
Measure from highest point typically top of A/C Unit

My 2002 CC Allure(30792) information sticker next to the drivers seat says 12'1". I also took a long straight edge and laid across the top of my AC and measured to the ground and I also got 12'1".

Make sure you have OEM size tires, if using the factory height. I know when we shifter our 04 Allure from 12R's to 295's - it was difference for speedometer to be off a bit.
From fuzzy memory ( ! ), the 295's were .60-.63" taler then the 12R's. But, suspect that could vary a tad, based on actual tire manufacturer.
For trip planning with the 04 Allure, I used 12' - 7" - as I was looking for bit extra clearance. (Those lower bridges, look much, much lower when coming up on them at speed ! We used 13' for the Magna.
Best to all,
Smitty

I replaced my 12r Toyo tires with 295 80 22.5 tires . I found the 295’s were around an inch shorter which helped me to fit my coach into my rv garage with a 12 ft high door. The coach is 12’1” high had to remove some trim off the opening too. The speedo is still pretty accurate according to my gps.

Roy1 - Thank you for posting this. My 'fuzzy memory' was way off! I went into email folders on our Allure, and checked my emails on the transition from 12R's to 295's. And depending upon the specific tire manufacturer, you around and inch shorter is spot on! On one brand, my notes to myself reflected 1.2" shorter.
Appreciate you correcting my post on it being taller, which it is not.
Best to you and all,
Smitty

Smitty Believe me my memory is pretty fuzzy these days for sure. My wife keeps close tabes these these days thinking I may be getting too old to drive a Motorhome even though it is not near as big as yours. I don’t dare brag about having a Motorhome for 50 years with no accidents.

The last time we got a 4-corner weighing (at an Escapees park) they measured us at 12 feet 4 inches high (and they also said to always mentally make it at 12 feet 10 inches for safety). When we switched from Toyo 12R tires to Michelin 295/80s earlier this year the tire diameter difference turned out to be about .75 of an inch smaller for the 295s.
Btw, our coach has a factory-applied sticker saying we're 12 feet 1 inch high; I don't go by that

The placard in my coach states 12' 1", it may be a generic label, it seemed in error the first time I fueled up by the limited clearance of the fuel station.
When I measured it, to top of satellite dome its more like 13' 1" its a good bit higher than the AC's. Its possible the original owner [I'm the second] had the satellite added after taking delivery at the factory.

My 2002 was 12’ 1” to the top of ac units it had an old opsolete satellite dome that was taller also. I removed the satellite dome and sealed the roof as it was of no value to me. I use a portable dish unit for my coach.

Suggest using a laser level and once at highest point, read tape measure where laser hits it.
