Getting closer to figuring out what’s going on. I may have left out one important item in my first post. Left front airbag will not inflate in “travel mode” goes totally flat and the left front red light on display stays on in travel mode. Coach appears to level okay when parked. If I can’t fix myself, how to circumvent travel mode and keep air in the bag for travel?

Electric servo valve at fault? Where are they located?

Not sure on the 2000 Magna but as I understand in our 04 intrigue we need to remove the cabinet in front of the passenger seat and there is box marked HWH under there, open that and there is a fuse in there marked travel mode pull that and you should be able to operate air bags individually

Thanks for the reply’s. Going to do more troubleshooting. The HWH box on my 2000 MAGNA is in the bay with the additional electrical compartment (Transfer switch). Can’t believe it needed to be that far back, that’s a long run for the 40 pin ribbon.

You don't have an HWH can in the front, driver's side compartment?

Control box is in storage bay that has transfer switch. I keep getting a lot for responses referencing the height control valve, however, looks like one valve and lever rod which must control the front ride height. I only have the front drivers side air bag that will not inflate for travel mode. Will inflate manually, just haven’t tried pulling the 7.5 amp fuse yet.

On my 2000 Magna I installed an easily accessible switch in the 7.5 amp fuse circuit so I don't have to crawl inside the coach bay to disable the travel solenoids when this problem happens. My thought process was that it would be dark and raining and I would have to unload the bay to crawl in and pull the fuse. When it did happen it was raining but wasn't dark.

I had a bad travel solenoid on the driver's side rear of the coach. Leveling with the engine running, transmission in neutral and emergency brake engaged, I flipped the switch and drove away. I did stop periodically to make sure I was still level just in case I had a bag leak.

It does sound like your front ride height valve is shot. If you have never worked on it, better have a pro replace it as it could crash on you if anything goes wrong. There might be a need to make a 90 degree adapter due to the new valve design change.

Greg suggested pulling the fuse, do it by all means. In case you can't find it, driving the coach with HWH red light on to a shop is ok, but drive slowly. Good luck.

There are two sets of solenoid valves, 6 valves each and known as the six packs. One set for the front and one for the rear. Three valves on each six pack control air to their side of the coach.

If your front passenger side is trying to set to ride height then I doubt the front ride height valve is defective as that bag would also misbehave and you may have figured it out by suspecting the travel valve. It may have failed but I suppose there could be an electrical problem with it.

I'm not sure of the locations of the six packs. but I had one of the solenoids replaced on my rear six pack and the HWH tech seemed to be working someplace above the rear axle. It was a dirty job as he looked really dirty when he got finished.

The front six pack should be easy to identify when you find them. If you plan on working on this yourself be sure you block the chassis up as the coach can drop very quickly and people have been severely injured.

Had similar problem with my 08 Magna. The six pack is a strong possibility and where I go for service normally they can rebuild them as opposed to replacement. Apparently it is frequently one of the O rings in one of the six valves. I was able to make it back to Oregon to get it repaired. A very reliable dealer that identified the problem was only willing to replace the six pack and the price was several thousand $$$!.
I strongly agree about properly supporting your coach if you want to DIY. Good luck.

Thanks again for all the response. Has any one had to replace the brain? From what I understand the 500 series AP 2207 is no longer available. I think my whole drivers side, front to back is now listing. If the six pack is failing wouldn’t one hear air leaking?
