(1) was part of the part number as listed on the invoice. With that said, it seems most bags are referenced by the four digit number "8802" but I listed it just like on my invoice. It did show 2 bags installed in the proper column on the invoice.

The track bar really seems to have made the biggest difference in how the coach drives. It has always had a Wig-Wag or side to side sway to it. I was under the coach a week ago and noticed the rubber pushing out of the track bar end. It was much worse than it appeared when they removed it. I am sure it was allowing the rear to move a good 3/4" to 1" side to side while traveling. She is rock solid in the lane now! Pleasure to drive, like it should be.

One more thing, on Old Biscuit's advice, I did request all the bags to have metal bases which was easily accomplished. None have poly or plastic bases which are prone to failure with out added base plate.

I changed the bags on all 4 of my 2006 Inspire. I raised it up with the HW system to full up then I put heavy duty jack stands under the frame and let the wheels hang. The trick was that I rigged up a fitting to connect the bags to the vacuum pump for my AC vacuum pump. That sucked the bags down to about 5" thick so they came out really easy with no pry bars. You go o Harbor Freight and get cheap venturis that will suck a vacuum make it easy to get the bags out. JUST a Tip...OHH my Coach...Dynamax chassis uses New Holland suspension system ron and rear. and they have a website.

Were they able to repair the track bar or did it require replace?

The ends are not repair items so it was replaced. Will, the service writer told me that this same rear suspension was used in some Western Star road tractors so they had the bar in stock. $188.00 plus the install and they aligned the rear after, which was included in the install labor.

Thanks for the update dfuelman, and info regarding track bar. I had to move my coach today to get back to my once again dry creek bed with a dump trailer for clean up. Twice last week it was a raging river running 4 - 6 feet deep at about 20 mph.



I'm able to manually raise and lower the coach from the control board but once its level and leveling system shutoff and it reverts to auto-height control it sets itself real high. To me it confirms the height control valves are either set wrong and don't permit "bled off" or potentially the side of the height control valves that lowers the coach level may be plugged or contaminated. Currently work on the coach is delayed as later this week and weekend potential flash floods again and I need to be prepared.

I need to make an update to this post which will correct some false information.

My '01 Intrigue did have factory bags with plastic bases on all four corners. The replacement bags installed also have plastic bases.

The front replacement bags had the base swapped for the original base due to an alignment issue with the replacement bag base. Thurston said it was an easy swap and made install no problem.

I know from other posts, there have been issues with plastic bases, but this coach came with plastic bases from Country Coach so they obviously are supported properly for the application.

I apologize for the wrong info, it was entirely my fault. What do we do when we ASSume?

This weeks upgrade is to rebuild/replace the steel frame under my battery box. Stay turned!
