Air lines purge cable on 09 Affinity

I took a look yesterday unsuccessfully for the cable to pull to purge my air system as I wanted to make sure I had no water in the tanks. Would someone in the know be able to point me to where I might find the drain?

2-Nickels on my 2007 Affinity it is an electrical switch on the center console above the HWH panel. It's labeled Air Purge.

Does this dump the bags or the water in the tank or both?
I know the switch, never used it.

Any switch inside is to dump or lower the suspension, its not a drain valve in the bottom of the 3 tanks.

The 3 tank drains are typically pulled by thin cables somewhere inside the front tires. If never touched, they may be coiled up and tucked out of site.

You only need to pull them for 10 seconds or so and watch for any moisture on the ground under them.

Don't stick your head in the wheel well while draining the tanks, the suspension could lower on it. Some use the awning rod to reach in there.

This is simply wrong. The Magna and above have solenoid controlled drains on each of the air tanks. These solenoids drain the water from the bottom of the tanks.They are actuated by a switch inside the coach. Mine is labeled "AIR TANK WTR PURGE". The momentary switch is located behind my drivers seat.

Follow George from Birmingham's response. My 2000 Magna has a momentary switch on the panel beside the driver's left arm that dumps the air tanks by way of solenoid vlaves. Note that I said air tanks. The bags don't dump with this switch but with the switch on the HWH control panel.

On my coach you can look underneath the front end on the passenger side and see a row of petcock valves. These valves are where the air is vented from the tanks. Should one of the solenoid valves leak (I've had 2 leak) you can close the petcock valves to eliminate the leak until the solenoid valve is repaired.

My concern with the solenoid valve solution that CC came up with prevents me from observing the air coming out of the tanks to see if there is moisture being expelled.

I don't understand why you think it is a waste. Before there were lanyards attached for draining tanks drivers drained the water by directly accessing the valves. The lanyards improved efficiency. The process that uses the solenoids and switches is simply a further improvement. The fact you didn't know about it doesn't make it a waste.

So I checked my 08 Affinity, the dash switch “Air Purge” does just that, dumps air.
I looked at my bottom tank and there are no valves to drain the tank.
I’ll check where the bottom line goes, what I’m I missing to check for water?
