Allure Step Well, dress up suggestions

My Allure has a very basic step well with black vinyl on the steps (the stuff with the little round coin-size dimples) and carpet on the sides. The coach floor is ceramic tile. Not sure I want to do ceramic in the steps but have considered getting a high quality vinyl product that might closely match the existing tile. We have some really nice fiberglass-reinforced vinyl in the kitchen at home that looks like travertine.

So, looking for suggestions from other CC owners. What do the Intrigues, Magna's and Infinity's have in the step area?

You can add whatever material that looks good that does not interfere with the stepwell slide operation. Most of the time, I add engineered wood to the sides and risers. Ernie

How about Adura or something of similar quality? Some of the luxury vinyl I've seen uses a grout.... would that work on the metal surface?

sure- you can use that. get the old carpet off, use contact cement to adhere the vinyl. Grout or- no grout.

Your Allure sounds like my old Magna style.

Step Upgrades
Summit has interior step risers that might do what you are looking for. I attached the link.
Hope this helps

Thanks. I have Summit stainless on the exterior steps and along the bottom of the coach. However, not sure that is the look I want inside the step well.

Mine looks just like this except I removed the carpet on the risers when we first got the coach and put some black vinyl base trim on it.

Here's what a Holiday Rambler did. Scroll down in the thread to see where he added some more LED's.

Mike's LED lit stairwell.
