Pro's of having the Viair is that you can use it anywhere you have a 12V source to run it. I guess one of the cons to the air doubler is that you have to start the coach engine to have air (unless you have enough residual air in the coach tanks to meet your needs). I was primarily looking for an alternative to the heavy portable 120V compressor I have stored in a compartment so the air doubler met that requirement.
