As long as I'm here

My thermostat is acting funky. Sometime I press the Zone and I only see two zones out of three, might be 1 and 3 or 2 and 3 or other combination. Pressing a few times more usually clears it. Replacement is a Coleman Mach Zone Control 8330D3351.

Has anyone used this replacement?

Has anyone had to restring the vertical blind right behind the drivers seat the covers the chain drive, wiring and hydraulics? Looks like it was assembled wrong last year when I had a well known CC shop work on it. I bought new cord but FixmyBlinds has never seen one like this as it uses bungie cords for tension and there are no pull cords.

Sorry Mr. D, I’ve not had this happen with our thermostat. My thought would be the trouble it is at the circuit board level as the logic is confused.

I just looked at the replacement and I like the larger display. If you proceed I’d be curious if it functions exactly the same as he old one.

New thermostat is here. One difference is that with the old one I could set each heat pump to heat or cool individually to exercise them. This one only allows all of them to be on heat or cool only. No splitting them up. I only did it when loading the generator though. I'd run one or two on heat pump and the other on cool, then switch them around part way through. Guess I'll get used to it.

So I guess installing the thermostat was a breeze? Is the larger display nice?

Have not installed it yet. That was from just reading the instructions.

Well, it's installed (plug n play) and I'm having the same problem so it's in the control units topside or the wiring in between. The larger screen is nice though.
Going to pour me a stiff drink now, after all it's "happy hour" even if I'm not happy!!

Checked the thermostat today. Only had one zone that would show, zone 1. I opened it up and pulled the fuse and let it sit. Did some other stuff (removed the vertical blind that covers the HWH slide mechanism that the string broke on). Went back and plugged the fuse in and now all three zones are showing. Need to test it next but I have the 30 amp service from the house to the MH to fix first.

How are the systems working when on the generator?
