Bath faucet upgrade

The conversion from polished brass to brushed nickel continues. Removal of the factory faucets was not easy as they were installed before the sinks were set and they used a strange method of clips and a very thin nut. The nuts and clips were some sort of coated metal that had rusted and corroded a bit. I had some CRC spray lube that helped me to eventually get the nuts loose. There is little room under the sink as well.

We settled on some Amercan Standard faucets (DW saw them at HD and liked the style). Once the factory stuff was removed, installing the AS assembly was really easy. Easy, yes but this will still be a 2 Tylenol night .

Will do the second sink tomorrow. Have still not found a set for the shower.
