Recent thread on this. With Kevin Waite, Bob Vinson, Country Coach/Winne In the Junction City, OR area and I'll add Eric Oldstrum(SP?) from Tucson. Are some sources to check in with.

Good luck to you,
Smitty

any shop that works on big trucks can replace it. I wonder what caused it to fail. I have run several trucks over a million miles and have never had an air bag fail

I bought mine at the local truck supply store and installed it myself. Not that big of a job. Just be careful and use the proper supports.

I had the left tag air bag blow a couple months ago. Sounded like a gun going off. Scared the hell out of me. Was able to limp back to Springfield and had the air bag replaced at Premier in Junction City. I didn't cost as much as i was expecting. i was concerned about the other airbags but they said they looked fine. I have a 2007 Intrigue.

Turned out to be a very simple repair. Unbolted the defective one and it had a number on top that my local parts store picked up for me . Was about a 45 minute project.

I would like to replace my two rear air bags so do you have a short explanation of the 45 minute project? I can barely get under my coach with the air bags deflated so would like to know what your procedure was. TIA

Dave I have a air over hydraulic jack that I use to let the suspension hang on that corner. Once you do that simply unbolt both ends of the bag and it comes right out.

Thanks Bill, unfortunately I do not have one of those. Probably just have them replaced at Spectrac when I get back to Mesa.
