Burglar alarm
Can anyone give me some details on the alarm system installed as an option in the 2004 CC Intrigue Ovation? I've searched and have not had any luck.
Thanks,
Leon

Our alarm is identical to a regular car alarm. Set by the FOB. The alarm is not set with the key touchpad on our coach.

Thanks Medico. Does it protect the windows, door, and basement doors? Do you know if it is motion, sound, or IR detectors? Do you by chance know the make/model of the alarm system?
Thanks again,
Leon

Sorry, cannot answer any of those questions. I would suggest a call to Country Coach for an answer to those questions. They are generally very helpful.

Ours has motion and entry door alerts.
Unfortunately, it works only when the house batteries are switched on and is very annoying in a rv park when it erroneously activates the alarm.
We have used it once in 11 years........

We have a bunch of components but I've never figured out if it has all the stuff to make it work or how to turn it on. Mainly we have a motion sensor in the bedroom that occasionaly has a red light the comes on randomly.

Our Allure has the electric locks for entry door and bay doors. It also has the alarm. I have set it off several times trying to open a storage bay door without first using the 'unlock' feature on the key fob.
So, I am now thinking how much of a nuisance we will be if we use the key fob to lock the doors in an RV park, head out to do some sightseeing, and something (kid bumps into the coach chasing a ball, come creep tries to open a bay door, etc.) sets off the alarm. We are hours away and my RV neighbors are getting angry.
Is there no other option but locking the doors with the key/s? Can the alarm be disabled when you don't want it to be active?

I generally only use the alarm when on the road. While in a park I will use the number key pad to lock the coach.

We have no number key pad so it will be the key for us.

Leons1,
Mine is a TriMark. You can check the web page at....
TriMark Corporation - E-Ask
Mine is on the entry door, also (3 bays on each side so if the alarm is on don't open a bay door with the key) not aware of a motion detector or window alarm.
