Bye Bye CC

[Mod Edit] We are looking at purchasing a seasonal in Vt.
My son lives in South Burlington so it would be ideal. Thinking ahead to retirement, that really is still quite far away. Something in Vt for six months and something down south for six months. We are going to check out North Carolina in a couple of weeks.
[Mod Edit]
Thinking down the road of a small 26ft C on a Sprinter chassis.

Mike - Salute to getting your ducks in a roll now on your schedule... We all learn from the examples of others. Some we learn from their unfortunate lack of planning. Where one spouse may end up having to do it all in an expedited manner. (Either as a widow, or sometimes having to provide medical care for their mate at the same time!) And other's we learn from their example of planning and setting a course to exit from RV'ing... So again sir, SALUTE TO YOU BOTH!

And I want to thank you for always sharing your knowledge... I know you're posts have helped me several times. Not just when I was asking for help, but more so when I was researching an issue... Many times my problem was solved, or at least pointed me in the right direction - from posts you have made...

IF you have time, please keep dropping in and continuing to share ahead... And good luck as you work out this next chapter!!!

With thanks and respect - Smitty

Mike

Sounds like you have a plan

As with Smitty I have gained knowledge on our rig from you...either directly or from reading other posts you have contributed to

Vicki and I may be in your position as well as we recently have acquired a place in Apache Junction AZ
And still have a place south of Seattle

Though I would still like to travel some more in the coach

When this does come to fruition I hope you still drop in here
Greg

Mike put me in the group as well wishing you the best in your next adventure. We took our last trip this summer and are now cleaning and polishing the old gal getting her ready to pass on to a younger person. It has been a wonderful ride as I'm sure yours has as well.
All the best to you and your wife and as Smitty said please stay in touch. You contributed so much to this forum in the most positive ways and I always enjoyed reading your posts

Best of luck Mike. I have enjoyed following along on your posts and you are a wealth of knowledge.

I dread the day I will be hanging up the keys to our coach but at least I have a plan in place in case something happens to me prior to my wife.

Mike,

If you have not been thru NC, look me up. We live just south of Asheville. I can share what we've learned since moving here 9 years ago.

Best,

Thanks John, We just got home. Spent a week in the Oak Island area. We liked Oak island and Southport. I have been to Ashville on our way looking around the Tennessee area. Going to look at the Clearwater area of Florida in August.
Closing on the Vt cottage in the next couple of weeks.

Mike, good luck to you! I always appreciated your insight. FWIW, the leisure travel brand has a similar quality to CC. My parents own one and its fantastic.

Thank you. I like those and the Phoenix Cruiser.
Been having second thoughts about getting rid of the CC.

Mike I'm in the same position. We've had the old girl for about 20 years and as I go thru her getting ready to say goodby, it's bittersweet.
